data science business card
About
This is a business card for a data scientist. My client reached out to me because he was looking for his first serious job after graduation
and wanted to make contact with others who have been in this profession for a while. He attended a few workshops and needed to
easily share his contact information and work with potential employers. Putting his Github username and QR code to his LinkedIn was
necessary so people can easily see his work.
The project
For the front, I used sharp contrast and one dominant color. Not exactly yellow, but it has more of a gold vibe.
To make the back I copied the ogo and put neurons in the background to make it look finished and put together.
The digital representation of neurons suits the profession that is data science.
Thinking process
I associated data science with a digital brain. I created an outline of a brain and added some simplified neurons.
Then it looked very crowded so I put some space between the hemispheres of the brain. The final logo is not exactly symmetrical,
thanks to the neurons that are put in random places, and not too complicated, so it looks good even if it's quite small.
Partnership
To show the work on my portfolio I couldn't reveal the real personal data of my client, so for the sake of showing some quality
work here I had to change the name, phone number and so on and put the business card on mockups. Our partnership was
successful and later I worked with him on the Qubiton project: creating a logo, illustrations, and social media posts.
You can see the project on my portfolio as well.
Data scientist business card
Data science business card. My first commercial and printed out project. The topic was new to me so I had to do some research. I'm glad I could broaden my horizons and do something different.
